Working directly with our Academy Director and owner, Nick Saviano, you will ensure the academy runs with the precision and excellence that our legacy demands. In this “hands-on” leadership role, you will be the backbone of our operations, bridging the gap between high-level on-court coaching and elite organizational health to ensure every athlete reaches their absolute full potential.
As the Academy Manager, you will focus on both the operational execution and the on-court standards of the academy. Your core day-to-day duties include:
On-Court Coaching & Oversight: Actively working on-court to directly coach players and oversee coaching standards, ensuring the seamless delivery of the Saviano system.
Parent Communication: Maintaining strong, proactive, and professional communication skills with parents regarding player development, schedules, and academy expectations.
Operational Management: Optimizing day-to-day business operations and maintaining our high standards of service.
Logistics & Scheduling: Managing the daily logistics of the tennis program, including keeping coaching schedules, staff coordination, and tournament travel highly organized.
Tournament Support: Traveling to and attending tournaments to support, watch, and scout SHPT players in a competitive environment.

Strong Tennis Background: You have a deep understanding of the game with a proven playing and coaching history—ideally at the collegiate, professional, or high-performance level.
On-Court Leadership: You are a skilled coach who thrives on-court, capable of leading drills, running practices, and mentoring other staff members to maintain strict technical standards.
Operational & Business Acumen: You have tangible experience managing the logistics of a tennis program or athletic facility. You are highly organized and possess the business mindset needed to run a premium service.
Exceptional Communicator: You possess excellent interpersonal skills, specifically the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with players, coaches, and parents.
